DO I NEED BIOHAZARD CLEANUP?
If there are any organic remains or locations where disease or microorganisms can fester, you need biohazard cleanup to protect your commercial or residential space. This can include but is not limited to: feces, blood, drug paraphilia, medical waste, and/or bodily fluids. Often times, home owners & property management companies will handle biohazard cleanups themselves and although this may do the trick for light clean-ups, it is not recommended as a means of preventing the spread of infectious disease (see cleaning v. disinfecting).
Also, keep in mind that the state is usually not responsible for cleaning up biohazard material. More often than not it is up to the property owner or leasee to seek biohazard cleaning services. Biohazard locations can be dangerous – when in doubt, leave it to a professional to handle it.
